April 24th

Too many Easter Eggs!

Full Ab routine including the new Plank thingy. Ugh! Thanks Ashley.

Great run because of my new shoes. Bad run because of my lazy time. I'll work harder tomorrow for sure!

April 22nd

I worked out in the yard from about 9 am to 5 pm. I'd say that was worth posting. I mowed front and back lawns, tilled all the vegetable boxes, two flower beds, planted 11 potted plants, 3 tomato plants, hung one flowering basket, swept the many patio areas, and scrubbed down all lawn chairs, tables and play equipment.

THEN, I cleaned 4 rooms in the house including the play room where I de-junked the toy closet and managed to make it livable for my visiting sister.

WHEW!!

(Then I went and saw a movie with a girlfriend.) I love productive days like today!

I worked out in the yard for about three hours tonight, so I'm counting that as my cross training for the day. :)

Full round of weights and ab routine.

Oh how I love weights!! I miss them after a while. Very good workout tonight.

April 16th

3 mile run, 1 mile walk (up hill)
run - 45 min.

Today is the day when I was originally suppose to do my first half marathon. I could let it get me down that I didn't do it, or I could cheer for the accomplishment I just did. I choose to celebrate my 4 mile work out today. I will cross that finish line, just not today, and I'm okay with that. You pick your battles and today my battle was a four mile long sun burn.

I run better at night anyway -or- April 10th

Okay, so I'm back on the wagon! (or is it off?) Either way, I'm going to do this half marathon!! So I've chosen the Legacy Midnight Run as my goal. I'm basically starting from scratch with my training, but that doesn't matter I'm going to get 'er done!! Cheer me on people! Summer is on it's way!
